Changes: When you're ordering a taxi, Yandex Maps now suggests pickup spots that are convenient for both you and the driver. You'll see which ensure a quicker or more affordable route to your destination, though you can always make an adjustment yourself if nothing fits.

Changes: Drive easier with detailed road markings visible right in the app. Available in the city center and main highways of Moscow and Ufa, the centers of St. Petersburg, Nizhny Novgorod, Yekaterinburg, and Volgograd Yandex Maps shows you which lane to be in to make the perfect turn and zooms in on complex interchanges so you don't miss anything important. Also, 3D buildings along the route serve as additional waymarks.
Night mode has more contrast now so it's easier to see all the details in the dark.

Changes: We updated your profile page — open it to see your history of visited places as well as your uploaded photos, videos, and reviews.
The reviews themselves got a touch-up, too. We moved around the "Add photo or video" button so it's easier to add media. Also, whenever you're contributing a review, you'll see the photos and videos you made in the place you're reviewing so you don't have to endlessly scroll through your gallery to find them.

Changes: Yandex Maps now has truck routes showing weight and dimension limits as well as other parameters. They also show obstacles that cannot be avoided. For example, where the only accessible road goes under a low bridge. All this will help you plan trips and reduce the likelihood of getting a fine.
To set it up, plot a route, open its parameters and select the type of truck. The parameters will be filled in automatically, and it will only be necessary to correct what did not match.

Changes: In Yandex.Maps you can now adjust the volume of voice prompts and alerts and set whether or not to mute music when they play. If this is the function you've been waiting for, open your profile in the app and tap "Settings". Then "Routes" and "Sound". There you can adjust the volume of the application, and in the "For notifications" item, choose what to do with the music: mute it, pause it, or don't change anything.
